Wabi Sabi

I have found that I exemplify an aesthetic that I didn't know existed! Ha...take that perfection. I stumbled upon it today. The name, not the concept.

Wabi-sabi (?) represents a comprehensive Japanese world view or aesthetic centered on the acceptance of transience. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".[1] It is a concept derived from the Buddhist teaching of the three marks of existence (三法印 sanbōin?), specifically impermanence (無常 mujō?), the other two being suffering (dukkha) and emptiness or absence of self-nature (sunyata).

While wasting time watching video's of  cool people living in Teeny Tiny Houses (my new obsession), One gal described how here shabby chic residence really is Wabi Sabi, imperfect. She saw the world as impermanent and all those things that we slave away for are so impermanent. The old adage: "You can't take it with you", applies right?

So Hooray Wabi Sabi! Here's the link to this totally cool Chica with appropriate expectations of life..."if you ask me".

This is a little too messy for me, but whatever....I like that her daughter is complaining, because....Don't all kids complain, whether it's 4000 sq. ft. or 400 sq. ft.

I think it's Brave, so Bravo Container Lady!!
